Executive Director – Greater Twin Cities
Our Client is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping promising low- income high school students earn admission to college. The organization currently serves two regions and plans to expand nationally to ten locations in the next ten years.  The Executive Director for the Greater Twin Cities will report to the CEO and will be responsible for the overall operations of the Twin Cities site.  He/she will provide overall management for all operational areas of the site, including: human resources, information technology, facilities management, purchasing, budgeting, finance and accounting.  He/She will directly supervise the Program Director, Development Director and Operations Coordinator.

The ideal candidate will have five or more years of successful senior management experience leading a growing, fiscally sound organization.  A proven personal track record of successful fundraising and experience building upon an organization’s base of support are required.  To succeed in this position, the ideal candidate must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. He/She will have successful experience with budgets and financial management, strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively interpret data to support decision-making.  Experience with the Twin Cities philanthropic community is preferred.  A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred.  Qualified applicants should send a resume to

President/Executive Vice President, Center For Healthcare Innovation (recently completed)

Our Client is a large Upper Midwest not-for-profit healthcare system that has newly created The Center for Healthcare Innovation, a living laboratory for researching new care models and treatments to transform health and health care.  The Center will advance our Client’s strategic vision to improve patient care and serve as a catalyst for change in health care locally and nationally.  The President/EVP position reports to the CEO of the System and provides overall strategic and operational leadership to the Center for Healthcare Innovation.  He/she will work to make The Center a national leader in creating innovative, sustainable models of care and sharing best practices and innovation. The Center is comprised of four separate but interrelated functions:  Care Model Innovation, Research Support, Community Benefit, and Public Policy.

The ideal candidate will be a bold, visionary leader who wants to transform healthcare. He/she will have ten years in progressively responsible positions in healthcare operations, public policy, research, philanthropy or community benefit. The candidate will have demonstrated proficiency in managing within complex, matrixed organizations, in collaborating and partnering with diverse groups, and in working with and utilizing a strong Board of Directors.  An MBA, MPH, MHA, MD, PhD or related healthcare master’s degree is required.


Head, Division of Biostatistics (recently completed)

Our Client ranks number one per capita (grant monies per faculty), making the school the most fiscally productive unit on campus and the most productive per capita school of any U.S. school of public health housed at a public university.  The Division focuses on the critical statistical methods employed in scientific research around health, from designing studies to calculating and comprehending data. The Head of the Division of Biostatistics is a full-time position with a tenured faculty rank of Full Professor.  The Head will lead the Division, continuing to build and enhance its programs. 

The ideal candidate will be an administrative leader who also brings a strong track record of research.  An earned academic degree (PhD or ScD) in Biostatistics, Statistics or a closely related field is required.  The Head of the Division of Biostatistics will be able to build trust through leadership, ethical decision-making, and a strong record of leading and developing staff.  The successful candidate will display sound judgment, impeccable integrity, ethics and values. 


CEO (recently completed)

Our client is a privately held, Minnesota-based provider of quality home health care, serving pediatric and adult clients, 24 hours-per-day, 7 days-per-week.  The newly created CEO role will be responsible for the complete operations of the business. This position will have complete P&L responsibility for the company and will be accountable for achieving revenue and profitability goals in accordance with the annual and strategic plans.  The position will report to the Board of Directors.  

The ideal candidate for this position will be a seasoned CEO with a strong track record in leading and growing a stand-alone service-oriented business.  He/She must have strong team-building skills and have demonstrated success in leading an organization through change and process improvement.  The ability to mentor and motivate the senior team will be critical.  Solid educational credentials and the highest levels of integrity are required. 


CEO/President, Plastics Manufacturer, Denver, CO

Our client is a private equity owned producer of rotationally molded polyethylene parts and products for a diverse array of applications and markets.  The company continues to expand its presence nationally and has positioned itself to pursue major new opportunities outside of its existing client base and geography, and has established a platform for expansion in the rapidly consolidating rotational molding industry.  The CEO/President will have complete P&L responsibility for the company and will be accountable for achieving sales and profitability goals in accordance with the annual and strategic plans. An important role for the CEO/ President will be to establish the management and operations with a structure to support a fast growth business.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a seasoned CEO/President with a strong track record in leading and growing a stand-alone, multi-site manufacturing business.  Thorough P&L management experience, including a full understanding of balance sheet and cash flow, is required.  Relevant experience within the plastics, resins or chemical industries is preferred.  The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing and new business development, and will have a thorough understanding of operations and manufacturing issues.
